LA film production dips in Q2 but TV dramas provide a bright spot

Los Angeles on-location production totalled 4,711 shoot days in Q2 2026, down 13% year-on-year and below the 5,121 days recorded in Q1, according to FilmLA. TV dramas were a bright spot, rising 34% from Q1 to reach 1,607 shoot days.
