Ghost in the Shell director Kenji Kamiyama helms new Gundam anime for 2027

Director Kenji Kamiyama, best known for Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, will helm Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO, a new anime set in an entirely fresh continuity called After Apocalypse. The series is set for release in 2027. The announcement ties in with the newly revealed video game Gundam Rogue Orbit.
