PiS deadline passes without deal — party faces most serious split since 2011

PiS is facing its most serious risk of a split since Zbigniew Ziobro left the party in 2011. Top-level talks between Jarosław Kaczyński and Mateusz Morawiecki have so far produced no result. The deadline set for Thursday midnight passed without any agreement being reached.
