Venice chief Barbera: absent U.S. studios are "experiencing an identity crisis"

Venice Film Festival director Alberto Barbera commented on the reduced presence of U.S. studios and streamers in this year's lineup, saying they are "experiencing an identity crisis." Despite this, Barbera assembled a star-studded selection, including new films from Martin McDonagh and Florian Zeller, as well as Robert Pattinson's Primetime. The Pattinson project was secured at the last minute.
