Poland meets US ambassador over digital tax as transatlantic tension simmers

Poland's Minister of Digitalisation Krzysztof Gawkowski and Deputy Minister Dariusz Standerski met with US Ambassador Tom Rose to discuss cybersecurity and the contentious planned digital tax. Rose praised Poland as "a great friend, important ally and irreplaceable partner" of the US. The digital tax proposal, pushed by the ministry, remains opposed by the American side.
