First confirmed exo-satellite blurs the line between planet and moon

Astronomers have confirmed the existence of the first known exo-satellite — a Jupiter-like object orbiting a brown dwarf that itself orbits a star. The discovery raises fundamental questions about how to classify the body: is it a planet, a moon, or an entirely new category? Existing definitions do not clearly account for such an object.
