Police officer drowns saving his fiancée from a river hours after proposing

Rogers Police Officer Fred Marsh drowned while saving his fiancée from a river just hours after proposing to her. His fiancée's mother said Marsh saw "the love of his life in distress" and did "what a good human would do." He died a hero, having just become engaged moments before the tragedy.
