Poland's NFZ allocates extra 600m złoty for cancer drugs and chemotherapy

Poland's National Health Fund (NFZ) will allocate an additional nearly 600 million złoty to cover drug therapy programmes and chemotherapy. The funds are intended to cover so-called over-performance — medical services provided to patients beyond the value of contracts signed with the NFZ. The money will go to hospitals that treated oncology patients beyond their contracted limits.
