Hundreds of drivers stranded by blizzard in Argentine Andes

Heavy snowstorms in western Argentina have blocked numerous roads during the winter season, trapping hundreds of drivers at a mountain pass. The conditions, while severe, are not unusual for this region during winter. Authorities are working to clear the blocked routes and free stranded motorists.
