Kenyan ex-governor convicted of murdering pregnant student Sharon Otieno

Former Migori County governor Okoth Obado has been convicted of murdering Sharon Otieno, a pregnant student with whom he had been having an affair. The case attracted widespread attention in Kenya and had been ongoing for several years. Otieno was pregnant at the time of her death.
