Roku Channel streams films from Create the Writers Room initiative

The Roku Channel has expanded its partnership with Create the Writers Room (CTWR), a creative incubator for underrepresented storytellers founded in 2018 by filmmaker Rickey Castleberry. Select films from CTWR's "Five Film Fridays" programme are now streaming on the Roku Channel, reaching the platform's 100 million subscribers. The move aims to give emerging diverse filmmakers greater audience exposure.
