PiS ultimatum deadline passes with no deal between Kaczyński and Morawiecki

A PiS leadership ultimatum directed at Mateusz Morawiecki expired without a deal being reached. A meeting described as a "last chance" between Morawiecki and Kaczyński ended without agreement. MP Agnieszka Wojciechowska van Heukelom said she hopes both sides will come to their senses but holds little expectation of that happening. The outcome of the internal party conflict remains unresolved.
