Methane Explosion in Indian Tunnel Kills 22 of 25 Trapped Workers

A methane explosion on Monday caused the collapse of a tunnel being built under the Teesta River in the Indian state of Sikkim. Twenty-five workers employed by a state-run energy company were inside at the time of the blast. Rescue teams have so far recovered 22 bodies, with the fate of the remaining three workers still unknown.
