Taís Araujo to star in Brazil-Portugal co-production adapting Agualusa's novel
Brazil's Elo Studios and Portugal's Bro Cinema have partnered to adapt Angolan author José Eduardo Agualusa's novel My Father's Wives for the big screen. Veteran Brazilian actress Taís Araujo has been cast in the lead role, and the film will be directed by a Portuguese filmmaker. The project brings together creators from three Portuguese-speaking countries.
