Polish air ambulance service set to buy German and US helicopters, cutting out PZL Świdnik

Poland's Lotnicze Pogotowie Ratunkowe (air ambulance service) is planning to acquire new helicopters, but the procurement specification limits eligible aircraft to German Airbus H145s and American Bell 429s. A PiS politician accused the government of deliberately excluding Polish manufacturer PZL Świdnik from the tender. The controversy centres on the wording of the technical requirements in the procurement order.
