Strategy and BlackRock launch $15 million Bitcoin quantum-security consortium

Nine firms including Strategy and BlackRock have formed a $15 million Bitcoin Security Consortium to fund post-quantum cryptography research. The initiative aims to protect the Bitcoin network against the potential threat posed by quantum computing. It is one of the largest industry-led efforts to address quantum vulnerabilities in cryptocurrency infrastructure.
