NFZ overhaul: specialist outpatient over-limit payments deferred until year-end

Poland's National Health Fund (NFZ) has introduced new rules for settling over-limit payments in specialist outpatient care (AOS), effective today. Instead of quarterly payouts, clinics will now receive money for excess services only after the full settlement year ends. Seven categories of services remain unchanged, but the shift could affect clinics' cash flow and patient access to appointments.
