Polish Archaeologists Launch Large-Scale Dig in Tanzania's Serengeti
Archaeologists from the University of Wrocław and the Polish Academy of Sciences have launched a systematic excavation inside Tanzania's Serengeti National Park. Over two months, the team will search for evidence of early human settlement and reconstruct the relationship between prehistoric people and animals. Prof. Marta Osypińska called it the largest-scale Polish archaeological project ever conducted in the area.
