Ewa Sałacka: Poland's 1980s cinema icon who searched for love all her life

Ewa Sałacka was one of the most magnetic and distinctive actresses in Polish cinema during the 1980s and 90s. Her private life attracted widespread public attention, particularly a controversial romance that was the talk of the country. She spent much of her life searching for happiness before finding peace. She died on 23 July 2006.
