Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" delivered IMAX's most powerful opening weekend in the company's history, also recording the highest international market share of any major release the big-screen exhibitor has handled. IMAX CEO described the film as "transformational." The company's Q2 2025 financial results (through June) were just released, but the industry's attention is focused on July's record-breaking debut.
