Film about photographer Gerda Taro to open Venice Horizons section

"The Girl With the Leica," directed by Alina Marazzi and portraying pioneering war photojournalist Gerda Taro — a German-Jewish anti-fascist artist — has been selected as the opening film of the Horizons section at the Venice Film Festival.
