Legia Warsaw president Marcin Herra revealed in an interview with WP SportoweFakty that the club spent over 50 million PLN last season on player acquisitions, agent commissions and wages. Despite the massive outlay, the sporting results were a failure, with Herra himself admitting the investment did not pay off. It is among the largest single-season spending totals in the club's history.
