ZUS pays energy allowance to eligible seniors — up to 375 zł per month in July

Poland's Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) pays a special energy flat-rate allowance to certain seniors to help cover electricity and gas bills. In July 2025 the benefit ranges up to 375 zł per month, depending on the type of heating used. Eligibility is limited mainly to veterans, war combatants and selected groups with special state recognition — not all pensioners qualify.
