Peacock Turns First-Ever Profit of $189M, Reaches 48 Million Subscribers

NBCUniversal's Peacock streaming service recorded its first-ever quarterly profit of $189 million for the three months ended in June. The platform added 2 million paid subscribers to reach a total of 48 million. Strong results from streaming, wireless and studio divisions all contributed to parent company Comcast's latest quarterly earnings report.
