Bertolucci's final screenplay comes to life — 'The Echo Chamber' set for Venice

Nearly eight years after Bernardo Bertolucci's death in Rome in 2018, his final screenplay "The Echo Chamber" will premiere in competition at the Venice Film Festival in September. Director Andrea Pallaoro worked closely with Bertolucci's co-writers Ilaria Bernardini and Ludovica Rampoldi to bring the story of love, longing and absence to the screen.
