Dinosaur Remains May Have Been Blasted to the Moon by Asteroid Impact

The asteroid that struck Earth 66 million years ago was larger than Mount Everest and may have ejected biological material — potentially including dinosaur remains — into space. Geophysicist Mario Rebolledo explains that the pressure wave ahead of the impactor began forming a crater before it even hit. A theory popularised in Peter Brannen's 2017 book "The Ends of the World" suggests some of that debris could have reached the Moon.
