Hungary Scraps VAT on Prescription Drugs from September

Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar announced on Facebook that VAT on prescription medicines will be abolished from the beginning of September. The move is part of a broader tax reform introduced by his government. The change is expected to directly reduce the cost of prescription drugs for Hungarian patients.
