Physical crypto attacks cost victims $124M in six months — France tops the list
According to a CertiK report, so-called wrench attacks — physical assaults targeting cryptocurrency holders — resulted in $124 million in victim losses over six months, a twelvefold increase year on year. The attacks are increasingly taking place inside victims' homes rather than in public spaces. France has emerged as the global epicenter, recording the highest number of such incidents.
