Peacock posts first-ever profitable quarter ahead of NBCUniversal split

Peacock, Comcast's streaming platform, recorded its first-ever profitable quarter in Q2 2026. The milestone comes as parent company NBCUniversal prepares to split its cable and media businesses into two separate publicly traded companies. Comcast also cautioned that its theme parks segment is showing signs of weakness.
