Geely to Build EVs at Ford's Spanish Plant from 2028 in New Joint Venture

China's Geely and Ford have formed a joint venture to produce electric vehicles at Ford's plant in Spain, with operations set to begin in the first half of 2027. The first new vehicles are scheduled to roll off the production line in 2028. The deal marks another step in Geely's expansion into the European EV market.
