Bangladesh's "The Difficult Bride" makes Venice history in Horizons competition

"The Difficult Bride," a supernatural feminist drama directed by Rubaiyat Hossain, has been selected for the Horizons competition at the Venice Film Festival, becoming the first Bangladeshi feature film ever to screen there. International sales are handled by Films Boutique. The cast features three Bangladesh National Film Award winners: Azmeri Haque Badhon, Rikita Nondine Shimu and Sunerah Kamal.
