JetZero Z4 blended-wing airliner promises up to 50% fuel savings

American startup JetZero is developing the Z4, a passenger jet using a blended-wing-body (BWB) design in which the wing and fuselage form a single integrated structure. The manufacturer claims a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles and fuel consumption 30–50% lower than conventional airliners, translating to lower operating costs and reduced CO2 emissions.
