"Eastern Shield": Border Municipalities Eligible for 40% Loan Forgiveness

Dozens of local governments and energy sector companies have already applied for financial support from Poland's new Security and Defence Fund. Municipalities covered by the "Eastern Shield" programme can have up to 40% of their loans forgiven. The initiative aims to strengthen infrastructure and security in eastern Poland near the border.
