Russia chokes Ukraine's Black Sea grain corridor — zero ships enter ports for first time since 2023

For the first time since Ukraine's Black Sea maritime corridor was established in 2023, no vessels entered any of the three Ukrainian ports in the Odesa region on Wednesday. Russian attacks on civilian cargo ships forced shipping giant Maersk to halt operations. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha called it "deliberate economic and humanitarian terror" and warned that millions of families across Africa, Asia and Latin America face rising food prices and hunger.
