CRREM methodology flags when buildings will lose value due to climate risk

The Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor (CRREM) is an international methodology for assessing climate risks in real estate and planning building decarbonisation. It identifies when a property will no longer meet market expectations or climate transition requirements — and therefore when it may lose value. Location alone no longer determines a building's worth; carbon emissions are an increasingly decisive factor.
