Google adds selfie video as a new account sign-in option

Google has introduced a new account recovery option that lets users record a short selfie video on a mobile device or PC. The feature is designed for situations where users are locked out, forget their password, or lack access to their usual two-factor authentication device. It joins existing recovery methods already offered by the company.
