First Polish F-35 takes flight — built at Italian facility

Poland's F-35 fighter jets are being manufactured at the Cameri facility in Italy, the only European production site for the aircraft, as part of the Joint Strike Fighter programme. The arrangement stems from offset agreements and production logistics within the programme. The first Polish-designated aircraft has already completed its maiden flight.
