'Mission Impossible' filmed the oldest known copy of Homer's Odyssey

The production of the new Mission Impossible film was granted access to the world's oldest surviving copy of Homer's Odyssey to film a scene featuring it. A curator revealed that director Christopher Nolan was "very moved" while holding the ancient text. The film draws on the story of the Odyssey as a narrative reference.
