Mykhailo Drapatyi Named Ukraine's New Commander-in-Chief

Mykhailo Drapatyi has been appointed the new Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He rose to fame in 2014 during an operation in Mariupol, when he ordered an armoured vehicle driver to ram through pro-Russian separatist barricades with the command "Dima, hit the gas!" His appointment ends the power struggle over the top military post in Kyiv.
