Betty Parsons, Champion of Pollock and Rothko, Gets a Museum Survey

Bard College is staging a survey exhibition dedicated to Betty Parsons, the gallerist who championed artists including Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko from the 1940s onward. The show, designed by artist Amy Sillman, focuses on Parsons not only as a dealer but as a creator in her own right. It marks a major reassessment of her artistic legacy.
