Guests Face High Extra Charges for Stickers, Spilled Wine and Damage in Hotels

Experts on Poland's "Dzień Dobry TVN" show explained that hotel and apartment guests can face hefty additional cleaning fees for damage such as stickers on windows, spilled wine or destruction of property. There is a clear line between acceptable mess and gross disrespect; in one case, cleaners spent eight hours restoring a room after a single guest's stay.
