Barceló quits Cuba as another hotel chain flees the island's crisis
Spanish hotel group Barceló has joined Meliá Hotels International and Iberostar Hotels & Resorts in pulling out of Cuba. The departures are driven by the island's deepening economic crisis, which has made hotel operations unviable. Cuba is losing a string of major tourism investors in quick succession.
