Drunk driver with 2.7‰ blood alcohol arrested on A1 motorway despite two driving bans
Prosecutors in Częstochowa have detained a 36-year-old man suspected of causing immediate danger of a catastrophe on the A1 motorway. He registered 2.7 per mille of alcohol in a breathalyser test and was subject to two court-imposed driving bans. Prosecutor General Waldemar Żurek intervened in the case after the man had initially been released because no remand had been sought.
