Bear stranded atop power pole in New Mexico dies after electrocution

A bear that climbed to the top of a 35-foot (10-metre) power pole in New Mexico has died from electrocution, according to the New Mexico Department of Fish and Wildlife. Video of the stranded animal went viral online before the bear's death was confirmed.
