Drunk driver released on A1 motorway — arrested after attorney general steps in, investigator dismissed

The District Prosecutor's Office in Częstochowa ordered police to detain a man suspected of creating a catastrophic hazard on the A1 motorway. The initial controversial decision not to remand him in custody prompted the attorney general to intervene. As a result, the investigator responsible for the original decision has been dismissed.
