KRUS: Farmer with 42 years of contributions to receive 2,261.41 PLN pension

Poland's Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS) has revealed that a farmer insured for 42 years will receive a pension of 2,261.41 PLN — the highest benefit available under the KRUS system. The amount depends heavily on contributions paid during a key period, meaning two farmers with different contribution levels can end up with very different pensions. KRUS also clarified which years are most important in calculating the agricultural pension.
