Ukraine strikes Russian oil depots to make Russians feel the war at home

Ukrainian drones are increasingly striking targets inside Russia, including oil refineries and fuel depots. War correspondent Mateusz Lachowski told WP's Newsroom programme that the aim goes beyond damaging critical infrastructure. "The point is for Russians to see those fires outside their windows, to feel that this war costs them something, and for trust in Putin to fall," he said.
