Polish cyclist 6,000 km into pole-to-pole ride, heading for the Sahara next
Grzegorz Stenka from Pomerania has been cycling from the Arctic Circle to Ushuaia, the world's southernmost city, for seven months. He has already covered over 6,000 km through Scandinavia, Europe and Morocco, and plans to reach the Tropic of Cancer in the Sahara within days before continuing through South America. The journey nearly cost him his fingers to frostbite, and every kilometre ridden raises funds for a children's and adults' hospice in West Pomerania.
