Poland stripped of kayak slalom world title by controversial referee call

At the Kayak Slalom World Championships in Oklahoma City, the Polish men's K-1 team was stripped of the gold medal following a baffling referee decision. Polish Canoe Federation vice-president Bogusław Popiela hit out at the video review system, asking: "If there's no proof in the footage, what's the point of the whole video system?"
