Iran claims it destroyed US Patriot, THAAD and radar systems in retaliation strike

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced it had destroyed multiple US military systems, including a THAAD missile defence radar, a Patriot air defence system, a C-RAM radar, fuel tanks and helicopter maintenance facilities at a US base. The statement, directed at the Jordanian people, described the strike as retaliation for the "killing of children." The claim was reported by Iran's state-linked Tasnim news agency.
